Center Point is a farming community of 377 people in western Indiana's Clay County, about 15 miles from Terre Haute via US 40 west to State Road 59 north. Interstate 70 provides the main long-distance access, with Terre Haute Regional Airport 20 miles southeast. The town's 1876 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a piece of local history.
