Cedarville is a farming community of 690 people in northwestern Illinois, about 15 miles west of Freeport via Route 26. Most visitors arrive from Rockford using US 20 west to Route 26 north, or from Chicago via I-90 to Rockford. The town sits in rolling prairie farmland and is home to Albertus Airport, a small general aviation facility.
