Cedar Rapids sits along the Cedar River in eastern Iowa, connected by Interstate 380 running north to Waterloo and south to Iowa City. Most long-distance travelers use I-380 or US Highway 30 for east-west routes, while locals rely on First Avenue and Collins Road for daily trips. The Eastern Iowa Airport is 10 miles southwest of downtown. The city calls itself the "City of Five Seasons" and features the distinctive curved glass Cedar Rapids Museum of Art downtown.
