Cedar Crest is a tiny central Pennsylvania community of about 100 people in Mifflin County, sitting between Harrisburg and State College. Take US Route 322 west from Harrisburg (40 miles) or east from State College (35 miles), with State Route 103 providing north-south access. The area's rolling farmland sits in Pennsylvania's limestone valley region, dotted with historic barns. The community gets its name from the Eastern Red Cedar trees that crown the surrounding hilltops.
