Cecil is a small farming village in eastern Wisconsin's Shawano County, about 45 miles northwest of Green Bay. Highway 22 runs right through town, connecting to Highway 29 via Highway 117 south. Most visitors come from Green Bay via Highway 141 north to Highway 22 west. The village sits in dairy farm country with rolling fields and scattered woodlots. Cecil's historic wooden grain elevator still towers over Highway 22, serving as the town's most recognizable landmark.
