Cavour is a farming town of 186 people in central South Dakota, about 15 miles northeast of Huron via Highway 14. The town sits in prime agricultural country with grain elevators that dominate the flat prairie landscape. Most visitors arrive through Huron Regional Airport, 20 miles southwest, or use Highway 14 as a cross-state route.
