Cave City is a small Kentucky town right on Interstate 65, making it a convenient stop between Louisville and Nashville. Most visitors come for nearby Mammoth Cave National Park, arriving via I-65 or connecting from State Route 70. The town sits in rolling limestone hills that create the underground cave systems the area is famous for. Main Street still features several vintage motels with classic neon signs that have welcomed Mammoth Cave tourists since the 1920s.
