Catawba is a tiny Price County community of 170 people deep in Wisconsin's Northwoods. Highway 13 provides the main access through dense forests and lakes. Most visitors arrive via Highway 29 from Wausau or Highway 210 from the Twin Cities area. The town still operates one of Wisconsin's few remaining one-room schoolhouses.
