Catawba is a tiny farming community in Clark County, about 10 miles southwest of Springfield along State Route 41. You'll reach it via Route 41 from Springfield or by connecting from I-70 through the regional highway network. The area sits in typical Ohio farmland with corn and soybean fields stretching in all directions. Despite sharing a name with the famous Catawba River in the Carolinas, this Ohio settlement sits in an entirely different watershed.
