Casstown is a tiny village in western Ohio's farm country, about 15 miles northeast of Dayton via State Route 41. Most visitors arrive from I-75, taking the Troy exit and following local roads through rolling agricultural land. The 259-person community sits along the historic corridor between Dayton and Troy, with tree-lined streets and 19th-century homes. Its preserved one-room schoolhouse operated from 1876 to 1962 and still stands as a local landmark.
