Casselton is a farming town of about 3,000 people sitting right on Interstate 94, just 20 minutes west of Fargo. Most visitors pass through on I-94 traveling cross-country, while locals use Highway 18 for north-south connections to smaller prairie communities. The flat Red River Valley terrain makes for straightforward driving, though North Dakota winters demand caution. The town hosts Pioneer Days each summer with one of the state's biggest street dances.
