Caspian is a small Upper Peninsula town of 600 people along US Highway 2 in Iron County. It's about 15 miles west of Iron Mountain and serves as a stopping point between larger communities. The town sits in forested terrain with harsh winters and brief summers. US-2 is the main route through town, connecting to Iron Mountain's airport to the east and continuing toward Wisconsin.
