Carrollton is a small county seat in west-central Alabama with about 800 residents, located along the Tombigbee River. Highway 17 runs north-south through town, connecting to Interstate 20/59 near Meridian, Mississippi, about 45 minutes south. The 1906 red brick courthouse anchors the town square.
