Carnegie is a farming town in southwestern Oklahoma, about 60 miles from Oklahoma City via Interstate 40 and Highway 9. Most visitors come from nearby Anadarko (15 miles east) or drive down from the metro area. The restored 1920s movie theater downtown still shows weekend films with its original neon marquee lighting up Main Street.
