Carey is a small farming town in south-central Idaho that sits along US Highway 20, about 120 miles from Boise. The route from the capital involves taking I-84 west to Bliss, then US-26 north through Gooding before connecting to US-20. Most visitors pass through heading to Sun Valley or Craters of the Moon National Monument. The town of 1,200 residents is known for its annual demolition derby that brings the community together each summer.
