Cannelton is a small Ohio River town in southern Indiana, about 45 miles from Louisville via I-64 and State Road 66. The town sits on a scenic river bend and centers around a massive 19th-century limestone cotton mill that once powered the local economy. Most traffic uses SR 66 for daily trips to nearby Tell City or longer connections to Evansville and Louisville.
