Campbell Hill is a small community of 328 people in southern Illinois, about 20 miles northeast of Carbondale via Route 13. Most visitors arrive from I-57, taking Route 13 west to reach the town. The area features rolling hills unusual for Illinois, sitting near some of the state's highest elevations with views across the Mississippi River valley toward Missouri.
