Cameron is a small farming town in northwestern Wisconsin, 20 miles southeast of Rice Lake on Highway 8. The community of 1,700 sits among dairy farms and crop fields in Barron County. Highway 25 intersects Highway 8 in town, providing regional connections. Most visitors drive from Rice Lake, about 20 minutes northwest. The town's concrete grain elevator from 1917 still towers over Main Street and remains operational.
