Camden is a small farming town in south-central Michigan, about 15 miles northeast of Hillsdale. Most visitors arrive via US-127 to State Route 99 west. The surrounding area features rolling farmland typical of southern Michigan. The town's municipal building doubles as the volunteer fire department headquarters.
