Camden is a tiny rural community of about 60 people in west-central Illinois, accessible via Route 101 from Rushville or longer routes through Quincy and Springfield. Located in farm country near the Illinois River valley, it's one of the state's smallest incorporated towns, established by early 19th-century settlers along the historic Schuyler-Brown County border.
