Camden is a small Alabama town of 1,800 people that serves as Wilcox County's seat. Located about 60 miles southwest of Montgomery via I-65 and US 21, it sits along the Alabama River in the historic Black Belt region. The town connects to surrounding areas through US highways 21 and 265, plus State Route 28. Its 1857 Greek Revival courthouse is considered one of Alabama's architectural gems.
