Cambridge is a small city about 50 miles north of Minneapolis via Highway 65, serving as Isanti County's seat. The drive takes 45 minutes on a straight shot up US-65 to I-35W. Highway 95 runs east-west through town toward Stillwater. It's grown as a Twin Cities bedroom community while keeping its small-town feel along the Rum River. The restored 1888 courthouse with its prominent clock tower still dominates the downtown Main Street area.
