Cambridge is a small farming town of about 800 people in central Iowa, 15 miles northeast of Ames via Highway 210. Most visitors drive from Des Moines by taking I-35 north then exiting onto Highway 210 east. It's a quiet residential community that serves as a bedroom town for Iowa State University employees, with the historic Cambridge Lutheran Church from 1884 marking the town center.
