Camanche sits on the Mississippi River in eastern Iowa, connected by US Highway 67 to Clinton and the Quad Cities. Most visitors drive up from Davenport (25 minutes) or down from Clinton (15 minutes) along this scenic river corridor. The town features one of Iowa's last manually operated swing bridges from 1909.
