Callisburg is a small Texas community of about 460 people in Cooke County, roughly 60 miles northwest of Dallas. Take I-35 north to Gainesville, then FM 678 west for 8 miles to reach town. The area features rolling Cross Timbers terrain with post oak woodlands and working ranches. Despite its size, Callisburg maintains its own independent school district serving grades K-12.
