Calion is a small Arkansas town of 355 people along Highway 15 in Union County's pine country. It's 15 miles north of El Dorado and serves as a quiet stop between the oil city and Camden. The community grew around timber and oil operations, and visitors today can see restored buildings from that era, including an old general store turned community center.
