Calhoun is a small county seat in western Kentucky with about 600 residents, located along the Green River. Highway 62 runs through town connecting to Central City and Henderson, while Route 81 links north to Interstate 69 near Madisonville. The 1916 McLean County Courthouse downtown features a distinctive red brick clock tower.
