Caledonia is a southeastern Wisconsin community of 25,000 people located between Milwaukee and Chicago along I-94. The main routes are I-94 for regional travel, Highway 38 north-south to Racine, and Highway 20 east-west. Most traffic heads north to Milwaukee for work or south toward Chicago for longer trips. Mitchell Airport is 30 miles north. The town operates under an unusual dual town-village government system.
