Caledonia is a small Mississippi town of 1,400 people about 10 miles northeast of Columbus via US Highway 45. The main route connects directly to Columbus Air Force Base and continues north toward Tupelo. Most visitors pass through on Highway 45 traveling between Memphis and Mobile, while locals make frequent trips south to Columbus for services. The town's historic downtown preserves several early 1900s buildings from its railroad heritage.
