Caledonia is a tiny farming community of 226 people in northern Illinois, right on the Wisconsin border. Take Route 173 east-west through town, or US 251 north from Rockford (20 miles). Interstate 90 connects long-distance travelers via Belvidere exits. The village post office runs out of a converted house on Main Street.
