Cairo sits in southwest Georgia near the Florida border as Grady County's seat. This city of 10,000 lies along US 84, connecting east to Valdosta and west to Alabama. From Atlanta, take I-75 south 200 miles to the US 84 exit near Lenox. The flat coastal plain stretches in all directions, dotted with pine groves and farmland under a humid subtropical climate. Cairo houses the world's oldest continuously operating Coca-Cola bottling plant, still producing beverages since 1901.
