Cainsville is a farming town of about 200 people in northwestern Missouri, near the Iowa border. Take US Highway 69 north from Kansas City (90 miles) or connect via US Highway 36 from eastern Missouri. The town sits in Harrison County's agricultural area, surrounded by corn and soybean fields. The 1920s Community Building hosts an annual Harvest Festival each October with pie contests and bluegrass music.
