Cabool is a small farming town in Missouri's Ozark region, about 45 miles south of Springfield via Highway 63. The main routes are Highway 63 running north-south and Highway 181 east-west, connecting to nearby agricultural communities and Mountain Grove. The rolling hills and mixed farmland create typical Ozark scenery with hot summers and mild winters supporting local agriculture. Downtown features a restored 1940s Phillips 66 station that now houses the visitor center.
