Caberfae is a tiny community of 35 people in northern Michigan's Wexford County, surrounded by forests and hills. Visitors typically drive US-131 north from Grand Rapids (90 miles) or take M-115 southwest from Traverse City (45 miles). The main draw is Caberfae Peaks Ski & Golf Resort, which boasts some of lower Michigan's steepest ski terrain with a 485-foot vertical drop.
