Most visitors arrive from nearby communities using local county roads or by taking US Highway 81 to Highway 136, then connecting to Highway 4. The surrounding area is classic Nebraska farmland with corn and soybean fields. The town's historic grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be spotted from miles away across the flat prairie.
