Byhalia sits 25 miles southeast of Memphis in Mississippi's Marshall County. Highway 78 runs right through town, connecting it east-west, while Highway 305 provides north-south access. Most long-distance visitors use Interstate 55 about 15 miles west. The town of 1,600 enjoys the rolling hills typical of north Mississippi's agricultural region. The restored 1906 courthouse anchors the historic town square.
