Butler is a small Kentucky county seat of about 515 people, located along US Route 27 between Louisville and Cincinnati. The 1848 courthouse downtown is one of Kentucky's oldest still in continuous operation, and the town serves as a gateway to the Bluegrass region's rolling hills and bourbon country.
