Butler is a small city of 2,660 in northeastern Indiana, right near the Ohio border. Take I-69 to State Road 8 east, or use State Road 1 which runs right through town. Most locals drive west to Auburn for shopping, while longer trips connect through I-69 to Fort Wayne. The town features one of DeKalb County's few remaining 19th-century covered bridges spanning the St. Joseph River.
