Burtrum is a farming community of 94 people in central Minnesota's Todd County, reached via Highway 71 which connects to Long Prairie and Wadena. Most trips follow state highways to neighboring towns for daily needs, while county roads serve local farms and lake properties. The original 1900 railroad depot still stands along what's now a recreational trail.
