Burton is a suburban city in southeastern Michigan, about 60 miles northwest of Detroit in Genesee County. Interstate 69 runs through the southern part of town, connecting to I-75 for easy access to Detroit and northern Michigan destinations. State Route 21 and local roads like Davison Road handle regional traffic. Bishop International Airport sits right on the city's eastern edge. Burton hosts the popular Michigan Renaissance Festival each fall, featuring jousting and medieval entertainment on a 17-acre wooded site.
