Burr Oak is a small farming community in southwestern Michigan, about 25 miles southeast of Kalamazoo via M-96 and local roads. Most visitors arrive from I-94 or US-131, connecting through Schoolcraft on State Route 86. The village of 800 residents sits amid rolling farmland and maintains one of Michigan's last active one-room schoolhouses.
