Burlison is a farming town of 398 people in western Tennessee, about 30 miles northeast of Memphis. Take I-40 east from Memphis to Highway 51 north for the most direct route. The town sits along Highway 51 with Highway 59 providing east-west access to Covington and other rural communities. The local post office continues to serve area farming families from its longtime location in the town center.
