Burlington is a tiny farming town of 138 people in northwestern Oklahoma, right near the Kansas border. It sits where Highway 11 meets County Road 580, about 25 miles west of Cherokee. The restored 1920s grain elevator still operates during harvest and can be seen for miles across the flat wheat country.
