Burlington is a Mississippi River town in southeastern Iowa, connected by US Highway 34 running east-west and Highway 61 following the river north-south. The city sits about 45 miles south of Interstate 80, with direct routes to Davenport, Hannibal, and Fort Madison. Snake Alley downtown is officially the world's most crooked street, zigzagging down Heritage Hill with seven curves in just 275 feet.
