Burlington sits in eastern Colorado's farm country, about 160 miles from Denver and just off Interstate 70. US Highway 385 runs right through town, connecting to I-70 via exits 437 or 438. The area's rolling wheat fields and high plains feel more like Kansas than mountain Colorado. The Old Town Museum features a working 1905 carousel with hand-carved horses that still delights visitors during summer months.
