Bude is a small Mississippi town of about 950 people in Franklin County's rolling countryside. Highway 98 runs right through town, connecting to Interstate 55 via McComb about 20 miles east. Most visitors come this way from Jackson or New Orleans. The restored 1920s railroad depot downtown now houses the local historical society.
