Buckner is a small farming town in southwestern Arkansas's Lafayette County, surrounded by pine forests and rolling agricultural land. Highway 160 provides the main access, running about 15 miles west from Magnolia and its regional airport. Longer trips typically use US 82 or connect from Interstate 30 via local highways through Arkansas's timber country. The town's post office has operated from the same Main Street location since 1901.
