Bryant is a tiny farming town of 160 people in west-central Illinois, about 25 miles southwest of Peoria via Highway 116 west to Farmington, then Highway 9 west. The area sits in rolling prairie country along the historic Spoon River, which inspired Edgar Lee Masters' famous "Spoon River Anthology" poetry collection.
