Brussels is a tiny Illinois town of about 200 people located on a peninsula between the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. You can only reach it via Route 100 north from Grafton, making it one of the most isolated communities in the state. The town runs Illinois's only cable ferry across the Illinois River to Kampsville.
