Bruceton is a small Carroll County town of about 1,400 people, sitting 90 miles southwest of Nashville via I-40 west to Exit 126, then SR-69 south through Camden to SR-140 west. From Memphis, it's 120 miles northeast using the same route in reverse. The town sits in Tennessee's rolling river valley country with mild winters and humid summers. Bruceton still operates one of the state's last manually controlled railroad crossings right through downtown.
